Being a Decent Human
Community standards and behavior.
A LAN is a social event. Don’t make it awkward.
Trash Talk vs. Harassment
- Trash Talk: Friendly banter between rivals who know each other. “Nice shot, lucky.”
- Harassment: Personal attacks, slurs, threats, or targeting someone who isn’t enjoying it.
- The Line: If someone asks you to stop, stop. If you don’t, it’s harassment.
Helping Newbies
- Not everyone is a pro. Not everyone has been to a LAN before.
- If someone is struggling with setup, offer to help.
- If someone is new to a game, don’t flame them. Teach them.
Theft & Security
- We have never had a major theft, because we look out for each other.
- If you see someone messing with gear that isn’t theirs, say something or tell staff.
- Lock your PC (Win+L) when you walk away.
- Valuables: Don’t leave your phone or wallet on the table when sleeping or away. Keep them on you or lock them in your car.
- Storage: There is no central secure storage; everyone is responsible for their own gear.
Inclusion
- Everyone is here to game.
- We do not tolerate discrimination based on race, gender, orientation, or ability.
