Food & Drink Guide
What to eat, where to order, and finding the nearest store.
LAN parties are not just about gaming; they are about survival. And for that, you need fuel.
Delivery
The easiest way to get fed is to have it come to you.
- Use the Foodora or Wolt apps.
- They automatically list restaurants that are currently open.
- You can see estimated delivery times (which might be longer on Friday/Saturday nights).
- Address: In the delivery notes, write: “LAN Party, will meet at main entrance”, and watch your phone! The courier will not come into the gaming hall.
Nearby Stores
If you prefer to take a walk (which is good for your legs), here are your options:
- Spar / Tesco: Usually the most reliable spots for snacks, drinks, and breakfast items.
- Tobacco Shop: If you need one, search for the nearest “Nemzeti Dohánybolt” on the map.
Eating at Your Desk
- Eat carefully. Your keyboard (and your neighbor’s) does not like spilled energy drinks.
- Throw away your trash. Don’t build a fortress out of pizza boxes. Leftover food smells and attracts bugs.
- Common Dining Area: If there is a designated dining area, use it for larger meals. It’s more comfortable, and you won’t get crumbs in your mouse.
What We Provide
- We usually bring a limited amount of snacks (chips and small bites).
- There are often cold soft drinks and beer available at cost.
- Many events also have a coffee machine (typically Nespresso) for an extra fee.
Dedicated Meal Windows
- We sometimes define dedicated meal windows so the whole hall does not rush for food at once.
- These windows also make group orders and quick store runs easier to coordinate.
- Always check announcements and the schedule for current meal windows.
